Phnom Penh—H.E. Ouk Samvithyea, Delegate of the Royal Government in charge as Director of the National Social Security Fund, said that the NSSF members who are public employee, former civil servant, and veteran currently accessed medical care services amounted to 22,001 cases/times by using the NSSF membership cards.
He added that this event aimed to distribute 3,166 membership cards and disseminated the policy implementation of social security schemes to civil servants and contract officials to be held in the meeting hall of Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning, and Construction on Friday morning of 07 December 2018.
He certified hat until now NSSF has registered public employees, former civil servants, and veterans amounted to estimated 300,000—208,000 public employees, 53,000 former civil servants, 55,000 veterans, and more than 100,000 police officers.
NSSF will continue strengthening and extending the implementation of social security schemes on Occupational Risk and Health Care for all workers and public employees as well as strive to launch pension scheme for workers and occupational risk scheme for public employees in 2019.
