Kampong Cham—At 6:40 a.m. on Tuesday of 02 August 2018, there was a traffic accident occurred because a car slammed into the back of a motorcycle with 03 female workers while riding cross the road leading to 01 dead immediately and 02 injured seriously at the scene. This traffic accident happened in front of the entrance of the Cheung Prey Mountain in the National Road 6, Kouk Rovieng village, Kouk Rovieng commune, Cheung Prey district, Kampong Cham.
03 victims are as follows:
- Khon Sreytouch, female, 24:
- Permanent address: Sreong village, Sondek commune, Batheay district, Kampong Cham.
- Situation of wound: Lacerated head and nose bleeding (serious injury)
- Workplace: Carlington (Cambodia) Co., LTD.
- Eourn Lim, female, 25:
- Permanent address: Sondek village, Tang Chrai commune, Batheay district, Kampong Cham.
- Situation of wound: Swollen right face and lacerated right foot and shin
- Workplace: Carlington (Cambodia) Co., LTD.
- Chim Khum, female, 25:
- Permanent address: Sondek village, Tang Chrai commune, Batheay district, Kampong Cham.
- Situation of wound: Seriously broken head leading to death
- Workplace: Carlington (Cambodia) Co., LTD.
In present, the NSSF team collaborated with the local traffic officers to facilitate and send the victims to the Cheung Prey referral hospital; 02 victims were referred to Calemette hospital because of the serious wounds and 01 dead victim was sent to the bereaved family to hold funeral traditionally at her hometown.
Transportation, medical care services until recovery, and other benefits are borne by the National Social Security Fund (NSSF).
