Kampong Chhnang—On 04 July 2018, the Kampong Chhnang NSSF officials of Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training provided the health care benefit award on 70% of Daily Average Wage for 90-Day Maternity Leave to 11 postnatal workers at the Kampong Chhnang NSSF branch.
Director of the Kampong Chhnang NSSF branch, Mr. Sim Bunthoeurn, said that the additional allowance were provided to the postnatal worker after NSSF had received the claim request and checked it correctly. The NSSF team explained about the benefits of social security schemes and provided the additional allowance to 11 female workers—09 working in JIUN YE GARMENT (CAMBODIA) CO., LTD, 01 working in TAK FOOK (CAMBODIA) GARMENT LTD, 01 working in Tripos International (Cambodia) Co.,LTD.
From 01 to 30 June 2018, the Kampong Chhnang NSSF branch received the claim request from and provided additional allowance of the Royal Government to 229 postnatal workers (01 delivered a twin) amounted to 92 million riels.
