Kampong Speu—At 10:20 am on 05 July 2018, there are 23 faint workers at Teng Xun factory located in the National Road 41, Sen Dey commune, Samrong Tong district, Kampong Speu province. The first cause of faintness resulted from 02 workers who were weak and fatigue, dizzy, and fainted at work. After other workers near the scene saw such incident, they panicked, suffocated, and fainted massively.
After receiving the information of workers’ faintness, the NSSF officials went to facilitate with the factory administrator to send 23 faint workers to get emergency at Thnol Toteong Poly-Clinic and Maternity.
For the current situation of Teng Xun factory, employer allowed all workers to take rest for 01 day by waiting the Team of Prevention for Faintness and Work Injury (TPFWI) to inspect the causes of faintness precisely.
Cost for transportation, emergency, and medical care services until recovery for victims is borne by the National Social Security Fund.
