Phnom Penh—H.E. Cheav Bunrith, spokesman of National Social Security Fund, revealed that from 1 January 2018 to 31 May 2018, the National Social Security Fund (NSSF) of Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training has implemented the Royal Government’s program on Additional Allowance Provision to 23,128 postnatal female workers with 23,293 newborns amounted to 9,317,200,000 riels.
He added that NSSF has implemented the principle of providing additional allowance of the Royal Government to all postnatal female workers in line with supreme recommendation of Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia.
The postnatal female workers are eligible to enjoy additional allowance as follows:
- One child = 400,000 riels.
- Twin = 800,000 riels.
- Triplet = 1,200,000 riels. This triplet will become the adopted children of Samdech Techo Hun Sen and receive 5,000,000 riels of allowance.
