Phnom Penh—The National Social Security Fund (NSSF) of Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training collaborated with Canadia Bank by signing a Memorandum of Understanding on Service Consumption of Contribution Payment and Benefit Reimbursement between the National Social Security Fund and Canadia Bank on 29 September 2017 in order to provide services better and punctually.
H.E. Ouk Samvithyea, Delegate of the Royal Government in charge as Director of the National Social Security Fund, said that currently NSSF has been expanding the coverage in line with the supreme recommendation of Samdech Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, in order to cover the informal economy, so he hoped that in the future NSSF will cover over three million members by starting to register the enterprises/establishments with one worker or more. He continued that in this occasion NSSF shall collaborate with other partners with a view to providing services to the worker better and more conveniently.
Finally, He expressed his in-depth thanks to Mr. Danny Qauh, Director General of Canadia Bank, for collaborating well to sign a Memorandum of Understanding.
