Phnom Penh — On the morning of 18 March 2022 at the Governing Body Room of the NSSF Headquarter, Mr. LEANG Punlork, Director of Social Security Policy Department, led the officials to attend the meeting on “The Process of Budget Implementation of Social Protection Fund”, which was chaired by Mr. YOK Samedy, Deputy Secretary-General of the General Secretariat for the National Social Protection Council.
According to Sub-Decree No. 224 SD.E concerning the Establishment of Social Protection Fund, Article 1 states that the Government of the Kingdom of Cambodia shall establish social protection fund, acronym as SPF, to expand efficiency and effectiveness of the social protection fund management in the Kingdom of Cambodia.
This meeting was organized by the General Secretariat for the National Social Protection Council with the participation of key leaders from various relevant ministries and institutions in the field of social protection in the Kingdom of Cambodia.
