Phnom Penh – After His Excellency ITH Samheng, Minister of Labour and Vocational Training had presided over the Opening Ceremony of Congress on Annual Achievements in 2021 of the Labour and Vocational Training Strategic Plan 2019-2023 and Action Plans for 2022 of the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training, in the afternoon of the same date, His Excellency HENG Sophannarith, Deputy Director General of NSSF and Representative of His Excellency OUK Samvithyea, Delegate of the Royal Government in charge as Director General of NSSF, delivered the presentation on “Strategy 4: Social Security Schemes Development, Annual Achievements in 2021, and Action Plans for 2022 of NSSF”.
In the presentation above, His Excellency Deputy Director General mentioned the progress of social security scheme implementation in 2021 including (1) Implementation of social security scheme on Occupational Risk, (2) Implementation of social security scheme on Health Care, (3) Urging the preparation and launch of social security scheme on Pension, (4) Strengthening the implementation of social security scheme in informal sector, and (5) challenges and solutions of the social security scheme implementation in Cambodia. In the meantime, His Excellency Deputy Director General also presented the action plans for 2022 of NSSF.
