Phnom Penh – His Excellency OUK Samvithyea, Delegate of the Royal Government in charge as Director General of the National Social Security Fund (NSSF), presided over the meeting to revise the draft Prakas on “Formalities and Procedures of Funerary Grant Provision of Social Security Scheme on Pension for Persons Defined by the Provisions of the Labour Law” and the draft Prakas on “Formalities and Procedures of Registration of Enterprises/Establishments and Workers as well as Contribution Payment for Persons Defined by the Provisions of Labour Law after the NSSF Legal Affairs Team had held the meeting recently.
His Excellency said that this was one more attention for Social Security Scheme on Pension that NSSF had prepared draft Prakas on “Formalities and Procedures of Funerary Grant Provision of Social Security Scheme on Pension” in a bid to ensure the effective and efficient implementation of social security scheme and relieve the hardship of beneficiary or person in charge of holding the funeral of old-age or invalidity pensioner.
Meanwhile, His Excellency also requested all members in the meeting for discussing all relevant challenges with a view to enabling both of Prakas to be much better and consistent in accordance with Law on Social Security Schemes by ensuring the highly effective and sustainable implementation.
After convening the meeting in the whole morning, His Excellency approved completely the two draft Prakas above in order to be prepared and submitted to the Governing Body of NSSF for check and approval.
It’s certified that the above meeting was held in Tuesday morning, 1 February 2022, in the Grand Meeting Room of the NSSF Headquarter with the presence of the leader and members of the NSSF Legal Affairs Team amounted to approximately 20 participants.
