South Korea—02 Technical officials of Rehabilitation Division of the National Social Security Fund (NSSF) of the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training were nominated to attend the training course on Capacity-Building for Medical Rehabilitation Specialist against Industrial Accident prepared by Korea Workers’ Compensation and Welfare Service (COMWEL) of the Republic of Korea and sponsored by Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA).
Mr. Cheak Lymeng, Head of Rehabilitation division of NSSF, clarified that this training course focuses on 03 main objectives as follows:
- To provide reference on experiences of medical care system development and rehabilitation services for the workers.
- To support the establishment of medical care system and rehabilitation services in Employment Injury Insurance for workers.
- To build training system for medical care and rehabilitation specialist.
It’s certified that this training course last 15 days from 19 September to 04 October 2019, Republic of Korea, and is taken part by approximately 20 participants from 07 countries such as Republic of Dominica, Kenya, Senegal, Nepal, Cambodia, Indonesia and Lao PDR.
