Phnom Penh—On Wednesday morning of 12 June 2019, the dissemination meeting on Provider Payment Methods Through Fingerprint System for service access and reimbursement to the contract health facility was held at Sunway Hotel and presided over by H.E. Ouk Samvithyea, Delegate of Royal Government in charges as Director of the National Social Security Fund (NSSF) of the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training as well as taken part from the NSSF technical officials and representatives of health facilities signed the agreement with NSSF amounted to approximately 100 participants.
He said that for the application of fingerprint system is done not only for private contracted health facilities but also all health facilities signed the agreement with NSSF in the future.
He added that the National Social Security Fund (NSSF) of the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training will start launch Pension Scheme in this year and all workers will also receive the same pensions as the civil servants.
He also reminded that the NSSF nowadays has approximately 2 million members, both worker and civil servant, that have entitlement to access medical care services free of charge at both public and private health facilities signed the agreement with NSSF.
This is because under the outstanding leadership and wisdom of Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, who always pays high attention for welfare and livelihood of Cambodian people especially employees.
