Phnom Penh—In Monday morning of 22 July 2019, H.E. Ouk Samvithyea, Delegate of the Royal Government in charge as Director of the National Social Security Fund, nominated H.E. Sum Sophorn, Deputy Director of NSSF, to lead the discussion meeting on Challenges of Partnership Implementation for Service Provision to the NSSF Member with representatives of private health facilities amounted to approximately 100 participants, which was held in the grand meeting room of NSSF, Phnom Penh.
He certified that this meeting focuses on the challenges of filling the NSSF administration forms, procedures of provider payment methods for the public and private health facilities signed the agreement with NSSF, and more attention to the NSSF member for medical care services with effectiveness and punctuality.
He added that some workers have not yet had the precise awareness of the process of accessing medical care services free of charge at the health facility singed the agreement with NSSF. Therefore, in a bid to better the service provision, the health facility would pay more attention to the NSSF member.
Currently, the National Social Security Fund (NSSF) has signed the agreement with 1337 health facilities—1292 public health facilities and 45 health facilities—with the aim of facilitating the service provision for the NSSF member with effectiveness and punctuality.
It showed that the Royal Government always pays high attention to all workers in Cambodia and under the outstanding leadership and wisdom of Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padie Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, for welfare and livelihood of Cambodian people as well as employees in Cambodia.
