Malaysia—On 16th April 2019, at the invitation of Joint Learning Network (JLN), H.E. Ouk Samvithyea, Delegate of Royal Government in charge as Director of National Social Security Fund of Ministry of Labour Vocational and Training, nominated H.E. Heng Sophannarith, Director of Policy Division, and Mr. Ouk Samonn, Technical Official of NSSF, to attend the Primary Health Care Financing and Payment Conference that was hosted in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on 16th-18th April 2019 under the support from Joint Learning Network. There are 50 participants from 14 countries in this conference.
This three-day workshop focuses on the experience exchange involved with the harmonization and the provision of effective Provider Payment Methods (PPM) for health care services to support Universal Health Coverage (UHC) on Primary Health Care financing and payment.
It’s certified that due to the support from and the good collaboration from GIZ, Cambodia has become a member of Joint Learning Network on March, 2019. Overall, there are 6 compositions that joined this conference—02 representatives of General Secretariat of National Social Protection of Ministry of Economy and Finance, 02 representatives of Payment Certification Agency (PCA) of Ministry of Health, and 02 representatives of National Social Security Fund. Currently, there are 35 member states of Joint Learning Network.
