Phnom Penh—According to the speech of Minister of Information, Kiev Kanharith, he admired the National Social Security Fund (NSSF) of the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training in the event of distributing 1,727 membership cards to leaders, civil servants, and contract officials of the Ministry of Information. There are approximately 200 participants in this event which was held on Tuesday morning of 12 February 2019 in the office of ministry concerned.
He added that both public servants and workers, the NSSF member, will stop worrying when they reach old-age because NSSF will prepare to launch pension scheme for them.
H.E. Dr. Sum Sophorn, Deputy Director of NSSF and Representative of H.E. Ouk Samvithyea, Delegate of the Royal Government in charge as Director of the National Social Security Fund, affirmed that social security schemes are a new achievement of the Royal Government and in the past, Cambodia has never had.
It highlights that the Head of Royal Government under the outstanding leadership of wisdom of Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padie Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, always pays high attention to the welfare and livelihood of all public employees and workers.
