Phnom Penh—H.E. Ouk Samvithyea, Delegate of the Royal Government in charge as Director of the National Social Security Fund of the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training, said in the meeting on Service Provision and Payment to Health Facilities Signed the Agreement with NSSF that this discussion meeting is to strengthen quality of service provision to the NSSF member and contribute to address other challenges occurring during so-far implementation.
He added that this crucial forum is an opportunity for NSSF and contacted private health facilities to discuss for improvement on challenges and solutions suitable with present socio-economic climate of Cambodia with unstoppable progress and full supports from its residents.
He also certified that currently NSSF has signed the agreement with 1,337 health facilities—1,292 public health facilities and 45 private health facilities. The growth of private health facilities is the significant contribution to numerously ease medical care services to the public health facilities with the purpose of providing services to workers who are the NSSF member.
Until now NSSF has issued Occupational Risk awards to 216,357 workers among 1,614,339 workers of 12,688 enterprises/establishments.
Partly, for Health Care Scheme, NSSF has provided services to 1,850,729 cases/times among 1,850,719 workers of 10,152 enterprises/establishments.
For the above-mentioned, he raised in the discussion meeting on Service Provision and Payment to Health Facilities Signed the Agreement with NSSF to be held on 22 January 2019. This event was joined by representatives of contracted health facilities as well as leaders and officials of NSSF amounted to 70 participants in the grand meeting room of the NSSF head office.
