Svay Rieng—On Tuesday morning of 12 February 2019, the National Social Security Fund (NSSF) of the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training collaborated with Svay Rieng provincial hall to prepare the dissemination meeting on the Policy Implementation of Social Security Schemes to the civil servants of provincial and district hall.
This event was presided over by H.E. Men Vibul, Governor of Svay Rieng Provincial Board of Governors, and H.E. Heng Sophanarith, Representative of H.E. Ouk Samvithyea, Delegate of the Royal Government in charge as Director of the National Social Security Fund as well as participated by representatives of provincial departments, organizations, and relevant institutions amounted to 80 participants.
On such occasion, NSSF also handed out 352 membership cards to civil servants and contract officials of Svay Rieng provincial hall in order to allow them to access health care services free of charge in the health facilities signed the agreement with NSSF and receive other benefits.
It’s certified that since the initial renovation of national economy until now, the Royal Government always pays high attention to social protection activities with a view to building human resource, promoting welfare of the Cambodian people, and launching socio-politic support systems. Visibly, the Royal Government of the 5th Legislature of the National Assembly issued the National Social Protection Policy Framework 2016-2025 that is a long-term roadmap for social protection focusing on two main pillars: social security and social assistance.
