Kampong Chhnang—On Thursday of 16 August 2018, the Kampong Chhnang NSSF branch officials of Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training disseminated to representatives, foremen, and assistants of 02 companies about the social security benefits and the procedures of document preparation to NSSF to be held at Samaki Meanchey and Kampong Trolach districts in Kampong Chhnang province as follows:
- XANATEX (CAMBODIA) GARMENT CO., LTD is located in Spien Pou village, Peany commune, Samaki Meanchey district, Kampong Chhnang province.
- KAI NENG LEATHER PRODUCTS (CAMBODIA) CO., LTD is located in Psa Trolach village, Long Vek commune, Kampong Trolach district, Kampong Chhnang province.
This dissemination meeting aims to allow representatives, foremen, and assistants of companies to raise more awareness of social security benefits and mainstream this knowledge to all workers. Moreover, the NSSF team guided the procedures of accessing medical care services in the health facilities signed the agreement with NSSF and receiving other benefits.
This dissemination is to promote the social welfare with the aim of ensuring income security, contributing to reduce the poverty, and promoting the social stability. According to the experiences of implementing social security schemes on Occupational Risk and Health Care, NSSF will launch pension scheme soon.
Based on the successful implementation of social security schemes on Occupational Risk and Health Care and in order to ensure consistency of social protection for private workers and public servants, the Royal Government authorized NSSF to prepare and administrate to launch social security schemes on Occupational Risk for public employees and on Health Care for public employees, former civil servants, and veterans since 2017.
