Pailin—On 24 May 2018, The NSSF Pailin branch officials led by Mr. Ream Somith, official in charge of NSSF provincial branch, presented the policy implementation of social security schemes to representative of company and workers at Victoria Y.N company located in Pshar Prum Village, Stueng Kach Commune, Sala Krau District, Pailin.
Mr. Ly Chanthorng, representative of company’s administration, expressed a warm welcome to the NSSF Pailin branch officials of Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training convening a dissemination meeting on Benefits of Social Security Schemes for Workers to be held in Victoria Y.N Company. He added that there have been a lot of workers suffered from work injury and received medical care services with facilitation from the NSSF agents on standby ready in the health facilities.
Mr. Ream Somith said that workers shall receive medical care services free of charge at health facilities signed the agreement with NSSF. Furthermore, workers shall be eligible to receive 70% of daily allowance of worker’s daily average wage for a period of abstention from work due to sickness or injury in line with discharged letter or/and medical prescription for over 7 (seven) consecutive days by counting from the first day of admitting in the health facilities. He stated in compliance with Prakas No. 184 dated 25 April 2018 on Revision of Articles 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 10 of Prakas No.109 LV/Pr.K., dated 17 March 2016, on Health Care Benefits. He requested all workers to participate in the national election to be held on 29 July 2018 in order to use their rights to elect their satisfied leader every five years.
